MY REVIEW:
Another great episode of the Chasing Fire – Alaska series. Featuring the smoke jumper team members, each book can easily stand on its own but continues a suspenseful and exhilarating tale of fighting wilderness fires while threatened by another danger, a terrorist militia with sinister goals. This time, JoJo and Crew are fighting for their lives and learn that the Lord and love can provide what they need to survive.
As always, Susan May Warren has provided an edge of the seat story with well developed characters and danger and adventure laced with a strong message of faith. There were so many spiritual truths woven into Burning Secrets that much of the narrative could have been highlighted. I highly recommend this book as well as the previous ones in this series.
