MY REVIEW:

It has been awhile since I read a book by Jordyn Redwood. I wasn’t very many pages into Christmas Baby Rescue before I remembered how much I like her books. Her character and plot development are excellent, especially within the requirements of the shorter mass market Love Inspired books.

The author pulled me right into the action almost immediately and I was taken on a breath-taking adventure along with Liam and Ashlyn as they worked desperately to stay alive while protecting her infant niece. I followed them through various plot twists and a surprise or two along the way to the satisfying conclusion.

I loved the fact that hero Liam was handicapped by PTSD and felt inadequate to protect Ashlyn and her niece but he persisted even when circumstances threatened to send him into an episode on more than one occasion. Ashlyn’s determination and compassion were admirable. It was also fun observing the development of a romantic relationship between the two.

I will definitely will not be waiting so long to read another book by this author and I recommend her to other readers.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book provided by the author. A favorable review was not required. All views expressed are my own.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Jordyn Redwood is a nurse by day, novelist by night. She has specialized in critical care and emergency nursing for nearly two decades. As a self professed medical nerd, she reads medical textbooks for fun. This led to the creation of Redwood’s Medical Edge– a blog devoted to helping authors write medically accurate fiction.
