MY REVIEW:
Lethal Standoff is an intense, action filled suspense that kept me turning those pages until the very end. Hostage negotiator Carrington Reed had been called to a situation where 15 illegal immigrants had been taken hostage by two local brothers. The incident did not end well and something about the entire scenario bothered Carrington. Working closely with investigative reporter Levi Ehrlich, they attempt to discover what could actually be behind the puzzling case. The more answers they find, the more they find their own lives threatened.
Exactly the type of suspense I most enjoy, Lethal Standoff has it all. Plenty of suspense, danger, mystery, and action combine with a touch of potential romance to make the perfect read. Characters are well defined and relatable. Their faith is tested and they persevere when odds are against them. A strong sense of right and wrong prevails.
I have always enjoyed books by this author and Lethal Standoff is no exception. Highly recommend!
