I have run across this several times and find the sentiments to be so true. I personally don’t think it applies just to “southern” friends but to all real friends in any location. I believe that if you have even one friend like this, you have truly been blessed!<\/p>\n
FRIENDS: Never ask for food. FRIENDS: Will say \u201chello\u201d. FRIENDS: Call your parents Mr. and Mrs. FRIENDS: Have never seen you cry. FRIENDS: Will eat at your dinner table and leave. FRIENDS: Know a few things about you. FRIENDS: Will leave you behind if that\u2019s what the crowd is doing. FRIENDS: Would knock on your door. FRIENDS: Are for a while. \n SOUTHERN<\/strike> REAL FRIENDS<\/font>: Will kick the back-ends of the whole crowd that left you. Then walk beside you in the front of the crowd.<\/p>\n
\n SOUTHERN<\/strike> REAL FRIENDS<\/font>: Walk right in and say, \u201cI\u2019m home!\u201d If you are not home they will wait.<\/p>\n
