Misunderstandings abound as the primary characters Hannah and Grant view each other and their world through hearts wounded by the past.<\/p>\n<p>Overall <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/1602601410\">Gingham Mountain<\/a> was an entertaining story with realistic characters and situations. Having enjoyed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/1597899380\/\">Calico Canyon<\/a>, I did find the subplot about Grace and her family to be somewhat of a disappointment. Their portrayal in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/1602601410\">Gingham Mountain<\/a> was of family even more out-of-control than the one of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/1597899380\/\">Calico Canyon<\/a>. I would have liked to have read about positive changes that had come as a result of Grace and Daniel&#8217;s marriage.
