But stepping outside the boundaries of convention can get messy. A shady lawyer backs Gwen, believing he can control her once she\u2019s in office. MY REVIEW:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gwen Arlington is a heroine who defies the standards set for women by the early 1900’s town of Bethlehem Springs, Idaho. Not only is she beautiful, but she is intelligent,\u00a0 independent, courageous, totally devoted to her Savior, and devoted to her family and town.\u00a0 At her sister’s encouragement, she decides to run for mayor when no one else steps up to oppose the only candidate who is frequently publicly intoxicated.\u00a0 Sparks fly when wealthy newcomer Morgan throws his hat into the ring.<\/p>\n

A <\/em><\/a>Vote of Confidence<\/a><\/em><\/em><\/a> <\/a><\/em><\/em>is a fun story with primary characters who live their lives according to their Christian principles. It has a little romance, a little suspense, and a lot of entertainment. I am looking forward to the next book in the series Fit to Be Tied <\/em>which will feature Gwen’s twin sister Cleo, another interesting character .
