When four U. S. astronauts crash land\u00a0 upon their return to earth after an extended time on Mars, they find the entire planet almost totally devoid of human life as well as all animals, birds, and insects. When they discover a massive column of brilliant light that seems to be centered in Houston, they embark on a cross country journey to discover what is behind the disappearance of life on earth.<\/p>\n

Offworld<\/a> chronicles the exploits of of the crew as well as their trials and tribulations during their trek. Parrish does a superb job relating the emotional response of each member to their unusual circumstances. Filled with adventure, danger, and suspense, Offworld<\/a> is another winner from Robin Parrish.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
