Mystery, secrets, and suspense are plentiful in The Debutante’s Code. I loved the brilliant blending of a regency romance with a somewhat Gothic style mystery that includes the legendary Bow Street runners.

I literally did not want to put this delightful novel down. Vetsch is a word master extraordinaire who dragged me down the dark streets of London more than once as the heroine sometimes reluctantly searched for the answers requested of her. At times the characters all seemed to be at cross purposes as I never knew what to expect of any of them next.

It was with great regret that I reached the end much too quickly. I must find time to work it into my schedule again if at all possible. Did I say brilliant? Can’t wait for the next installment!

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book provided by Kregel Publications.
