\"\"<\/a>It was during third grade after a teacher encouraged him in his writing and as he read through The Narnia Chronicles by C.S. Lewis that Travis decided he wanted to be a writer. The dream never left him, and allowed him to fulfill that dream of writing fulltime in 2007.<\/div>\n

Travis Thrasher is the author of numerous works of fiction, including his most personal and perhaps his deepest work, Sky Blue<\/a>, that was published in summer of 2007. This year he has to novels published, Out of the Devil\u2019s Mouth<\/a>, and a supernatural thriller, Isolation<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Travis is married to Sharon and they are the proud parents of Kylie, born in November, 2006, and Hailey, a Shih-Tzu that looks like an Ewok. They live in suburban Chicago.<\/p>\n

MY REVIEW:<\/strong><\/p>\n

As if the specters of her past are not enough to torment her guilt ridden soul, Laila finds herself stalked by a man bent on revenge\u00a0 – and using her to solve serious problems of his own. As she runs from the very real physical threat, the chase is joined by friends, foes, and family. Unfortunately, Laila is never sure if the things she sees are reality, her own imagination, or even something supernatural.<\/p>\n

Broken<\/a> is one of those books where nothing is as it seems. The fast paced plot is filled with action, suspense, and a perfectly crafted creepy atmosphere that will keep the reader engaged until the very end. Themes of forgiveness, sacrificial love, and restoration are deftly woven throughout. Definitely a must read for those who enjoy this genre.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
