MY REVIEW:<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have to admit that I have mixed feelings about The Influenza Bomb<\/strong><\/em>. Basically the plot was great. It was meticulously researched and its premise is frighteningly possible, especially in view of alternative news that circulated regarding the 2009\/2010 H1N1 scare. The threat of bio-terrorism is truly a subject that deserves our attention and the way the authors tied the modern threat to events from both world wars made for very interesting reading.<\/p>\n

In my opinion, The Influenza Bomb <\/strong><\/em>was more of an event driven rather than character driven story that was almost overloaded with details, many of them repeated. The narrative also switched back and forth between several time periods and\/or characters which made it a challenge to hold my concentration. There were so many characters that I had a difficult time relating to any of them.<\/p>\n

Despite the fact that the writing style was not my personal cup of tea, I am glad that I persisted and finished The Influenza Bomb.<\/strong><\/em> The story is full of historical information as well as future possibilities that leaves the reader with plenty to think about.<\/p>\n
