MY REVIEW:

From the beautiful and sturdy slipcase to the attractive cloth covered hard cover and the gorgeous illustrations throughout, the Illuminated Bible is a special addition for the art lover’s library. This ESV bible is fairly large and heavy with over 1600 pages. While it might not be best for everyday Bible study, I can see spending quite a bit of time viewing and meditating on the special gilded illustrations scattered throughout its pages. Each book of the Bible has a full page illustration at the beginning and other full page illustrations appear frequently. The outside edge of each page has a wide margin. Some of the margins include illustrations of scripture verses. Other margins are blank for your own notes or illustrations. If you like, you can add a touch of color to any of the included illustrations. The cream colored pages are quality paper that is smooth to the touch.

Everything about this Bible speaks of quality and I will be honored to display it on my coffee table so others may enjoy it also.
