Behold the Lamb of God - Andrew PetersonIf Behold the Lamb of God (The True Tall Tale of the Coming of Christ) comes anywhere within driving distance of your home this year, run – don’t walk- to see it. You won’t be sorry. I have only seen the DVD (several times) and listened to the CD so far; but Andrew and his friends will actually be here in west Tennessee this year. My husband and I (and untold numbers of friends) will be there when the door opens.

In my opinion Behold the Lamb of God is the absolute best Christmas album I have ever heard. I was instantly captured with the good news of the opening song and pulled into the story further with each song. With deep spiritual understanding, Andrew has brought us the message of how desperately a savior was needed with glimpses from the Old Testament. He then shines the light on our only answer – Christ. The songs remain faithful to the Scripture and take us from despair to celebration. Each time I listen (or watch) I gain new revelation of the great gift God has given us. I never know which song will bring me to tears. Behold the Lamb of God is the one “Christmas” cd that we listen to year round. Its message cannot be limited to a short season but is relevant at all times.
