Happily Even After by Marilynn Griffith was my first book by this author and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Let me tell you, it was a thoroughly enjoyable read – humorous and outspoken but infused with spiritual depth.
Tracey is unsure of her position as a wife, new mother, daughter-in-law, and member of her husband’s (and mother-in-law’s) church. Tracey’s quest for acceptance and self-esteem takes her through many ups and downs as she touches the people in her life in surprising and positive ways.
I was left with the message that being yourself is of more value than trying to be who you think others want you to be. I would highly recommend this book and look forward to reading others by Marilynn Griffith.
I have an extra copy of Happily Even After to give away. If you will leave a comment requesting an entry, I will draw one name from all entries on Wednesday, January 16, 2008. Please leave me a way to contact you if you are the winner.
